Information for Applicants

Our program accepts applications for residency positions through the Electronic Residency Application Service. Our program is identified as #260-35-21-187, Albert Einstein College of Medicine Program, or Einstein/Montefiore Med Ctr-NY. Our application deadline is November 10th, with interview invitations typically extended in mid- to late- November. Interviews are conducted until January.

Each year, six categorical PGY-1 positions are available, and these are assigned through our participation in the National Residency Matching Program.

Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship

The Orthopaedic Surgery Department at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University has started a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship. They are registered with the SF Match and will be enrolled for the 2012 class. This is an unaccreditted fellowship.

There are more than 30 attendings on staff. There are two very busy pediatric orthopaedic surgeons as well as two spine deformity surgeons and two nonoperative pediatric orthopaedic surgeons. A large breadth of cases are performed as the medical center's location provides it with significant and unique pathology.
